Isn't this swell? :) We live in a country where we can have our own thoughts, opinions, and actions. Unfortunately, due to a recent outbreak of Stalinitis, parens everywhere are dictating their children. Even worse, NO VACCINE! That must suck for kids with opinions! Yeah, no kidding! This Stalinitis outbreak is so bad I forgot what an opinion was! Does that mean I like bananas...or not? Lol, as if that matters! This is Dictatorland now! Wow, swell! You know who else must suffer from this horrible disease? Kids with social anxiety. Now that Stalinitis has taken over, they MUST face their fears, even get made fun of for having this disorder. Lol, and that's NOT offensive *reference to last week's episode where Jaylen whines about what is and isn't offensive*. It's truly sad, but we'll reach that topic later. For now, sit on your couch like the potato you are and wait for the show to come back on.

"Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" is a 1953 comedy musical (with some romance as well) based on the 1949 musical of the same name, which was based on the 1925 novel by Anita Loos. There is also a 1928 silent film adaptation of the novel as well (hopefully I can watch that one, too).
Basically, the movie is about Lorelei Lee, the dumb blonde looking for someone rich, and Dorothy Shaw, the witty brunette looking for love. The two are showgirls and when Gus Edmund, Lorelei's fiance, sends them out on a cruise to France, the story begins from there.
Ok, so that was not a very good description, but it truly is the basic plot, I would not like to ruin the rest for you. I say watch it, because once they get on the cruise it gets really exciting from there. I was only watching it for Marilyn Monroe, but it turned out to be a really funny and entertaining movie.
Cast: Marilyn Monroe as Lorelei Lee (Gosh, she plays the dumb blonde role very well.) Jane Russell as Dorothy Shaw (She's a really good actress, too. XD She was very funny.) Charles Courbon as Sir Francis "Piggy" Beekman (He gave me the creeps) Elliot Reed as Ernie Malone (Loved him, then hated him, and then loved him again) Tommy Noonan as Gus Edmund (He was so adorable in a nerdy, shy way) George Winslow as Henry Spofford III (he's such a minimal character, but I wanted to add him in here, because he is the cutest part of the movie and his scenes are very funny)
Alright, done with the cast. This movie is really about best friends and how opposites attract and that's what I really liked about it. Costumes were great I mean Marilyn looked 10/10 in all of them.
Acting was spot on, music was great, and plot and execution of plot were great.
There's also a tiny scene spoken in French, but you'll understand what's being said in context to what's going on in the film.
I'm giving this movie 10/10. It's not even because I'm biased towards Marilyn Monroe, because I saw a movie with her before this one and it was so bad I couldn't believe it =/

Rather they are quite random and have no significance, unless you are obsessed with me, which I would find hard to believe as I really have no substance. A1: Open, because I turn on the light in there so I can find my way around my super dark room. It's like pitch black if the closet light isn't on, so it's sort of necessary that my closet is open.

A2: YES! YES! YES! I mean what good is it to just leave it there? They probably switch them out right?! Of course, I'm taking that. It's sometimes really good brands, too, like don't mind if I do!

A3: Well, I'm guessing that's the thing that covers the mattress, right? I actually don't call it that. My whole life, it's been called a sábana, so that's what I've always associated that with. My bed sheets are tucked out.

A4: What the--? What kind of question is this? No, why would I do that?! Who does that?
Q5: Do you like to use post-it notes?
A5: Only when annotating for books, personally, I'd much rather organize my notes into a journal. It's just easier that way for me. Plus, I have as much space as I need to gather my thoughts, whereas a post-it note is pretty small (unless you get the big kind, which I don't).

A6: No, I cut them out and use them. I love deals. They stay on the coupon sheet unless I'm planning on using them.

A7: Ugh, bee attacks sound really painful and I've never been stung by a bee, so you can imagine how I'll feel being stung for the first time by a bunch of them. The bear attack idk if I could outrun that thing and trick it, but I'm willing to take the chance that I can. Plus, if I was out in the woods, I might have some protection right? Weapons? Idk. Big bear sounds better.

A10: When people copy me in class. I'd get it if you asked to copy, but just looking over my shoulder and copying me is so totally annoying! Even worse, is when people just take my paper when they see I finish writing something down.

I can't wait to see how much I've changed (or haven't). This is supposed to be a 30 day challenge, but I'm not going to do that. It'll be exactly 30 things about me. So please read through, or read what interests you. I'll never know. :P
1. Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is: Yes, I'm single. Idk how single life is, because I've never been in a relationship to begin with. I can only imagine how it is to be in a relationship and from what I've seen, horrible. It seems like a lot of stress and a lot of responsibilities. I feel like I want to be single forever. One, because no one likes me and two, because I don't want to be restricted. If someone is going to love me, they're going to just have to love me for me and not tell me to change. Likewise, I wouldn't tell them to change.
2. Where you'd like to be in 10 years: When I'm 24 I'd love to be touring with my band (my nonexistent band *cries in corner*) and doing other band stuff. I have no idea what, but just being on stage, doing interviews, and recording in the studio sounds like fun. If I'm not a singer by then, then I'll enjoy my research as a psychologist. It's one or the other. They both make me equally happy. Money wise, of course, stable. That would be great. I don't want to worry about money when I'm older, not at all. Relationship wise, as I said above, I don't care. Friends, I don't care much about either and sure it seems sad, but it really isn't, so yeah.
3. Your views on drugs and alcohol: Okay, so first things first alcohol is a drug. Tbh, I know that's not what this is asking but it annoys me that people don't consider alcohol a drug, it in fact is. It's just a legal drug and people have totally different terms for this stuff. It's not called getting stoned or high, it's called getting drunk and acquiring hangovers. Okay, now that that's done with...I would never do them. I don't even like taking prescription or over-the-counter meds (except cough syrup, which is sad on my part. I mean who fucking told them to make it taste like strawberry and grape and cherry. Nobody!!! Okay, so maybe they made it taste like that for kids, but exactly, KIDS. What if kids get addicted to it!!! There was a time when I was younger that I always wanted to drink cough syrup at night, but of course I didn't, because well I wasn't sick, but I tried to get sick. That's pretty sucky if you ask me). But yeah, seriously it's not good for you. I really don't care how educated you are about it, it's not good for you. BUT I will say this, if you are educated on this stuff, then good for you, because a lot of people just take drugs because it's drugs. At least you know what's going to happen to your body and your brain and all of that. If you didn't, I'd consider you stupid. Alcohol to me is extremely stupid, because I mean gosh it tastes gross. I dipped my finger in beer when I was a child and that shit tasted disgusting. If I had to choose to do either drugs or alcohol, I would choose drugs. It seems much safer, but like I said before, ALCOHOL IS A DRUG. Really, just don't do them at all. Please.
4. Your views on religion: This is going to be sweet and short. If you don't believe in anything, please don't push your non-belief on those who do believe. Those who do believe, please don't push your belief to the nonbelievers. Believe in whatever you want as long as you are passionate about it, whether that's nothing or one thing or various things, just stay true to it.
5. A time you thought about ending your own life: Probably never. I mean I've always wondered if people would care if I killed myself, but I would never do it. Life's too short to take it away.

10:00-11:00 wake up, stay in room while on computer

12:15-*rest of the day* do homework, listen to music, chill, check social media OR do whatever my family has to do, because I'm forced to go with them grocery shopping or to my cousin's house or whatever it is they plan on wasting my time with.
13. Somewhere you'd like to move or visit: I'd love to travel the whole world, but not move to any of these places. Only place I'd move to is Connecticut, only because that's where Yale is and if I want to go there for four years well then of course I'd have to get used to living there, right?!
14. Your earliest memory: I guess of me eating pinto beans and throwing up because I didn't like them (I was like two).

16. Your views on mainstream music: It's great. I like whatever I like. I like weird stuff and for that my friend's don't like that I listen to Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Austin Mahone (literally the only mainstream music I listen to in the pop category), but people have to think, isn't all music on the radio mainstream. Even if it's on the non-mainstream radio, it's still mainstream enough to be played on the radio. So just look at it this way, music is great who cares if it's mainstream or not, just enjoy it. But please, please, please, don't not listen to something because you've never heard of the artist. That is extremely ignorant.
17. Your Highs and Lows of this past year: Eh, this year's been great so far. I mean I try not to let things bother me anymore, because it's worthless to waste time on being sad or mad on things anymore. Just be happy. ^_^
18. My beliefs: This isn't specific enough. I could rant and rant and rant. You know what I believe in, I believe that everyone should just live life they way they want. They shouldn't be restricted to the social standards of this world, they should be free to do as they please.
19. Disrespecting your parents: Big no no. At least to my parents, I don't know about yours, but mine are great.
20. How important you think education is: EXTREMELY. It's like basically you either have it or you don't. Not having it is a total detriment, at least in my eyes. I find school to be the most important thing in life, because without it, you wouldn't be able to get through life with a lot of things. Jobs, conversations, college, people (yes, people look at you differently when you're smart or stupid), opportunities. It can all be affected.

24. Your favorite movie and what it's about: My favorite movie so far is "Metropolis" a 1927 German silent film about how society is in the near future and how we are doomed. There's a lot of undertones, it's really hard to describe all of it. It's a movie that you're going to have to watch a couple of times (lol, I've only watched it once, it moved me though).
25. Someone who fascinates you and why: I guess Marilyn Monroe. She's really beautiful and I think because she California I feel more connected to her. I also think she's really iconic and would love to learn more about her life and death. I love her singing voice, too and I've seen one movie with her in it. Pretty good (but then again I'm biased towards older films).

What kind of person attracts you: Well, if we're talking friend material, I'd say just about anyone who can have a great intellectual conversation with me and isn't close-minded and also has a good taste in music will do it for me. If we're talking boyfriend material, then I'd say all of the above for the friend material, but I also want a funny guy, smart guy (because remember smarts and intellect are NOT the same), a creative guy, a nice-ish guy (I say nice-ish, because some guys can be such dinguses or douches, but not necessarily towards everyone). They have to be somewhat attractive, too, I'm not going to say "looks don't matter." They don't, but to a certain extant. There's way more to it, but I'm not really in touch with that part of myself yet. I simply want someone to be my friend, I don't really care to much about the kissing part, the only thing we're using our lips for at least for the beginning is talking about topics of interest (lol).
27. A Problem That You Have Had: Still an on-going problem is my social anxiety. I really do wonder what's going to happen to me in the future.
28. Something that you miss: My friends who went to the other high school u_u...also cool kids shows, they all sort of suck now.

"Breakfast At Tiffany's" but I love Audrey Hepburn and I love this song, so when summer comes it's going to be on the top of my list of things I have to do. =) I hope you enjoy.
