50 More Facts About Me

Have Not Done One Of These In Quite Some Time...

I found these next 50 questions here if you would like to view them, but they will be right above my answer so don't worry about not knowing what exactly it is I'm answering to.

Q1. What was the last book you read?
A1. "My One Hundred Adventures" by Polly Horvath

Q2. Do you like roller coasters?
A2. Only some. I do not like the one's that hang upside down or do loops or any type of the sort. I do however enjoy simple fast one's. I do not like the feeling in my stomach, but nevertheless I go on, because it is a fun experience. Of course, I wouldn't recommend it if you're weak at heart. I am afraid of heights, but even so I still go on.

Q3. Day or night?
A3. Night is more calm. I don't like being out much, and being out is a DAY thing. I like it at night when there isn't much noise so I can concentrate on writing things.

Q4. What do you hear right now?
A4. I hear running water and my fingers typing these words.

Q5. What would you name your son or daughter if you had one?
A5. If I had a son I would name him Dylan and if I had a daughter I would name her Kalliope (lol not because of the story, it was honestly the first thing that came in my mind, I'm not so certain on what I would name my daughter).

Q6. Do you want kids? Why or why not?
A6. No, I don't want to PHYSICALLY have any, because that's a lot of pain to go through and it would be really hard to raise a kid when you're still a kid at heart. I would love to adopt when I'm thirty or forty though, seems like fun.

Q7. What's your favorite memory with your best friend(s)?
A7. I don't think I have a particular favorite memory, more so, a favorite year, which would be 6th grade year when we all met. It was nice. It was fun.

Q8. How many times did it take you to pass your driver's test?
A8. I have yet to take one, I hope that number is 1.

Q9. The scariest dream you had?
A9. Really, dreams where I get shot at are the scariest. I mostly have dreams about school these days so nothing very scary about that.

Q10. How tall are you?
A10. 5'5" (165.1 cm), but something leads me to believe I'm 5'4" and a half (163.8 cm).

Q11. The last thing you ate was...
A11. Rice

Q12. A band you want to see live is...
A12. Mindless Self Indulgence

Q13. Do you have a hero/someone you look up to? If so, who?
A13. Taylor Swift. She's not like other young girl celebrities in the media. Although, people criticize her for going out with too many boys and writing too many songs about them, they really don't understand that she's growing from it and that she's living life the way she wants to. It's not like she purposely asks for heartbreak, no one does. She's experiencing life and so many people experience the same things, so they're being hypocritical.

Q14. Do you like to swim?
A14. Who doesn't?

Q15. Things you look for in a guy/girl?
A15. In a girl (as a friend), I look for qualities such as a sense of humor and someone who does not care too much about what other's think of her. Similarly, in a guy I look for those same two qualities, but a lot more. I want a guy who can talk to me about nearly everything, a guy who is passionate even when it's something I don't really understand, a guy who likes music, and a guy who can listen to me when I need to vent, but can be there when I need to laugh.

Q16. Has a book ever upset you?
A16. asdfghjkl!!! YES!!! Only when it starts off really good and then sucks or when you've heard so much appraisal for it and it sucks. Very rarely, when a character dies and you loved the character though. I do get shocked, but I know the story can't move forward without that character dying, so....

Q17. What was the first instrument you learned to play?
A17. Piano.

Q18. Some of your hobbies include...
A18. Writing stories/songs, drawing, playing piano/guitar, singing, reading, running

Q19. How do you deal with anger?
A19. I'm very rarely angry. I do not like the feeling. If I am ever angry though, I just kind of want to be left alone.

Q20. Something you like about your appearance is...
A20. I like my smile, my eyes, my eyebrows, and my fingers. That's about it.

Q21. What was the last movie you watched?
A21. Metropolis (2001 anime film) not going to write a review on this for the blog, it'd just be useless considering you can read the wiki and it wouldn't detract from whatever I were to have said. I might have even spoiled it for you in the process.

Q22. Do you have a favorite ghost story? What about a personal ghost story?
A22. No and no.

Q23. Where is the farthest from home you've gone?
A23. I live in Los Angeles and I've been to a place at least six hours from there and that I would say is the farthest I've ever been. I don't know where it was, but I remember it was very hot!

Q24. Have you met anyone through Tumblr that you'd like to meet irl?

A30. lol, I don't really browse through blogs.

A33. I've only had one pet, a pet goldfish, and it's name was rainbowfish.

A39. lol no one loves us, we're too weird for the weirdos

Q40. How did you come across your favorite band?
A40. My friend had shown me a song of theirs in an amv before and I didn't think much of it until I came across them again and then I decided, why not listen to all of their songs. Now, I'm a big Mindless Self Indulgence fan and I don't care what anyone thinks.

Q47. How many CD's do you own?
A47. None ='(

Q48. How many books do you own?
A48. None =) I get all my books from the library and return them, there's no point in keeping a book, especially if you buy a book and you don't like it.

Q49. How many aunts and uncles do you have?
A49. Dad's side: 1 Mom's side: 3, but that's not including all the many family members that we all consider either your cousins or your aunts and uncles, lol.

The Moment I Realized I Was No Longer A Child

It Was A Hard Question To Answer...

In English Class, the question "When was the moment you realized you were no longer a child?" and I stared at that pretty startled. There was really no definitive moment, but I will explain that in the post. In this post I will talk about what happened to me and I will add on to what I said, because I did not have enough time in class to answer the question to it's entirety.

Note: Some of my new thoughts will be intertwined with what I wrote for class.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////

The moment I realized I was no longer a child was the day that I realized the world was not a good place. There was no time, place, or reason for it, I just remember one day that I sat in my room crying for hours at the thought of how horrible the world is and in a way, I still try to keep a sense of innocence and immaturity. It is a beautiful thing to be a child, there is no care and worry. You see the beauty in everything and then one day it just goes away. That is why it's very confusing, but I think I will always live in an imaginary world. There is no reality for me, the thought of death, growing up, drama, it just saddens me and I'd rather not deal with it. I feel like you lose your innocence bit by bit, too. As you keep progressing through life you learn about so many things and each one will make you think (or not) and then somehow that piece of innocence that you had is gone.

When I was three or four, my mother read me the Bible, and being me, I loved to ask questions. There was a part in the beginning (Genesis) where someone dies and I ask my mom "Why do people die?" and she explained that everyone does. I then proceeded by asking, "Not everyone dies though, right?" and she said, "Yes, everyone dies." I was shocked for a split second and I began to cry. I did not want to die, I still do not want to die. I NEVER want to die. It's just a sickening, saddening thought and I think that bit in my mind that I have not yet fully processed is what keeps me a kid at heart.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////

Death: Learning about death and experiencing seeing people die is something I don't like to see. I don't like to think that every moment in the day could be a moment I die or someone else dies. I know we're supposed to die, but it's not something I'm particularly fond of thinking. I'm afraid of what's on the other side and when I was a kid and even now, just thinking of death made me worry so much that I had to cry. Why do we die? Why do we see others die? What does death feel like? It all runs through your head for a while.

Love: When you're a child, love is love from everyone. Your family, your friends, people you trust. They all love you. When you get older and you see so many painful things that go hand in hand with love, such as divorce and affairs, you acquire a different perspective on something that was so wonderful before. For me, learning that divorce occurs made me have a different perspective on love as a whole. Do people really love each other? Why do they separate? You can't love someone temporarily. At least that's what I thought. Knowing that love is not as simple as it should be is what scared me. It never really makes me cry though, it just makes me feel like no one will ever truly love me. I'd rather have the love of my family and friends, then the fake love of someone who does not love me for who I am.

Santa/Easter Bunny/Tooth Fairy: You're probably thinking, well kids don't care about this. Yes, we do. Personally, I'm against telling kids these guys are real. When you tell them that they aren't real, they freak out and rightfully so. Imagine your whole life thinking something is real and it's not. It just freaks them out and makes everyone else look like a liar. Lying is a bad thing and when that part of us realizes it, we may not do anything about it at the moment, but after a while we begin lying ourselves.

Race: I hate the moment you realize there are other races. I liked it better when you were a kid and everyone was your friend regardless of how they looked. You didn't even know what Black, White, Asian, Hispanic was when you were a kid, because it wasn't something you had to worry about. I remember when I realized this, it didn't bother me, but a lot of other people became pretty racist. They made racist jokes and they meant them and they expected you to do something, because of what you are. Right now, I don't really care. I make jokes like that and I make fun of stereotypes, but I don't do it to be malicious. I do it, because everyone needs to realize that it's all in fun. The thing about kids is they realize that and every little moment they don't just breaks them apart and makes them less and less innocent.

Sex: I find this to be the thing that does not necessarily break a child's innocence, but it's something very scandalous when we do find out. For years we'll laugh at everything that has to do with sex, whether it be positions (which is more of a middle school thing) or private parts (which is definitely an elementary thing). We think it's something we shouldn't talk about at all and that the word itself is horrible and shouldn't be said. It makes us laugh, but why? Do we think that knowing this makes us any less of a child? I think so. The last piece of innocence that really does go away does have to be sex. The moment you lose your virginity is probably the last innocent moment of your life and then it's gone, but I don't think a lot of people realize that until after they regret it.

Bad Words: Bad words, like sex, they make children laugh. Children think that for some reason saying those words makes them so very grown-up, when they're really just giving away a piece of their child-hood. I don't think I said bad words until I was eleven and that was really hard for me. I thought it was really bad of me until it became normal and still today I don't try to say bad words, but it just becomes so a part of you, that you don't really stop.

My whole point is, once you lose your innocence, there's really no taking it back, so the least you can do is try to hold on to it for as long as you can, because things don't become the same again after it's gone.

I Think I Finally Fixed My Computer

Hopefully Yes, If Not That Sucks...

My computer has been freezing and getting BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) messages. I went all over the internet (on my tablet, thank goodness I have one) to search for different things I could do. Last night I ran a check disk that lasted 4 hours and I think I fixed it. It doesn't seem to be doing any of the weird things it has been doing and if so, well I don't know what I'm going to do.

I would be really sad if this computer no longer worked, my grandfather gave it to me as a gift to me before he died. I was the only person (excluding my grandmother, I mean children/grandchildren) he'd ever given a gift to in his whole life. It just makes me really sad to think about it that way, because I was not so nice to him before he had gotten sick and when I look back at it, I feel so horrible now. This computer is the only piece of him that I have and for it to just die, would be like him dying completely. ='(

I Love You, Darling

This Story Would Not Be Possible If...

My English teacher hadn't assigned it. Our warm-up today was to make a story using the line, "When I confronted him, he denied that he'd ever said it." At first I had so many stories about robberies and killings and other dangerous stuff, but then I thought, "Love is a silent killer. It breaks hearts and drives some to madness." It's very brief, so don't worry about reading a lot of words. Hope you enjoy!~

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I confronted him, he denied that he'd ever said it.

"I love you, darling," he had said. It echoed through my head for days and nights. I was so in love that I was blind to the fact that he was simply using me. I thought for sure his words were true until that dreadful day my heart was broken. I replay that day over and over again accompanied by his words.

"I love you, darling." They almost make my ears bleed, but somehow I feel I'd prefer that situation more than all the tears and the deep pangs my heart are experiencing now.

"I love you, darling." It seemed so real until I saw him standing with another girl.

"I love you, darling." That girl was my best friend. She knew how much I loved him, how much I wanted him to be mine forever. Can you ever really trust anyone though? Especially when it's matters of the heart. I just thought she was my friend. How could she?

"I love you, darling," his voice said with a hint of something more. It didn't sit right with me, but at the time I didn't care. Now when I look back at it, I can only think that perhaps "darling" wasn't me and his "I love you" meant something else. All I know is, I wish I hadn't taken it seriously.

"I love you, darling." And as those words run through my head I try to slow them down. How long had I been deceived?

"I love you, darling." Right here, right now he's telling me those words never came out his mouth. They were so sugar sweet and I knew for a fact they had.

"I love you, darling." He's walking away now with all the broken memories I wish had never been made. He goes into his car and I see her in there. It hurts. A lot.

"I love you, darling." I never know who I should be more angry at. My friend who agreed to be with him or him who played with my heart.

"I love you, darling."

I laugh now, "No, you don't." I walk back in my house laughing until I start to cry.

"I love you, darling."  What a lie.
