Unsociable

This song describes everything about me and I think a lot of people can relate to it. This was from the first album Jimmy Urine ever let out, titled Mindless Self-Indulgence thus their band name (without the dash!). That whole first album is very raw, very original it is something a lot of people would like I think.

Here are the lyrics to the song:

I've never had too much
I've never had to lie
I've never had to sacrifice
my life

I've never had too much
I've never had to lie
I've never had to sacrifice
my life

One of these shapes is not like the others [x4]

I'm Socially Unacceptable, Unexceptional, Unsociable, [x4]

not like the others
one of these shapes is not like the others
one of these shapes is

I've never had too much
I've never had to lie
I've never had to sacrifice
my life

one of these shapes is not like the others [x4]

I'm Socially Unacceptable, Unexceptional, Unsociable, [x4]

not like the others
one of these shapes is not like the others
one of these shapes

one of these shapes is not like the others
I'm Socially Unacceptable, Unexceptional, Unsociable, [x4]

not like the others
one of these shapes is not like the others
one of these shapes

Here's the song itself:

White

"White" by the Left Rights (Jimmy Urine and Steve Righ? of Mindless Self Indulgence), is a very catchy song. Yesterday I watched the video, which by the way is directed by Jhonen Vasquez, creator of Invader Zim. :D It was so freaking weird. It gets funny gradually, but it's a morbid kind of funny.

The Lyrics:

We will we will never die
It should come as no surprise
We will always multiply
Never ever be denied

You know I never rock
You know I never roll
And just like Janet Jackson
I'll be losing all control

You know I never rock
You know I never roll
And just like Michael Jackson
And just like Michael Jackson

I'll be white
Suburban
Middle-class
I'll never have to work again

White
Suburban
Middle-class
I'll never have to work again

I can always piss my life away
There will never be consequences
It doesn't matter what I say
Mommy's always gonna pay for college

We will we will never die
It should come as no surprise
We will always multiply
Never ever be denied

Because I'm white
Suburban
Middle-class
I'll never have to work again

White
Suburban
Middle-class
I'll never have to work again

You know I never rock
You know I never roll
And just like Janet Jackson
I'll be losing all control

You know I never rock
You know I never roll
And just like Michael Jackson
And just like Michael Jackson

I'll be hard-core
Honkey Galore
No one I know
Has ever been poor
Even the police
They know the score
My daddy is a lawyer
And there's nothing that I'm sorry for

Retail stores
Liquor and whores
I got one black friend
And I don't want more
The only thing better
Than Star Wars
Is the Keytar solo
From 1984

(oh yeah, this is better than standing still at a Radiohead concert)

SHORT, TALL, GRANDE, VENTI

We will we will never die
It should come as no surprise
We will always multiply
Never ever be denied

White
Suburban
Middle-class
I'll never have to work again

White
Suburban
Middle-class
I'll never have to work again

You know I never rock
You know I never roll
And just like Janet Jackson
I'll be losing all control

You know I never rock
You know I never roll
And just like Michael Jackson
I'd be white

Yes, it's a stereotyping song, but I love how people can fit there stereotypes. It might not be all white people, but the one's I know are exactly like this song. LOL!  X)

ATWA

System of a Down: ATWA

This song makes me really melancholy everytime I hear it. Maybe it's the sound of the song itself. I don't really know, but I love it a lot. It's a really cool song.

Here are the lyrics: and if you're lazy just read them here, because
Hey you, see me, pictures crazy
All the world I've seen before me passing by
I've got nothing, to gain, to lose
All the world I've seen before me passing by
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
Hey you, are me, not so pretty
All the world I've seen before me passing by
Silent my voice, I've got no choice
All the world I've seen before me passing by
You don't cae about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
I don't see, anymore
I don't hear, anymore
I don't speak, anymore
I don't feel
Hey you, see me, pictures crazy
All the world I've seen before me passing by
I've got nothing, to gain, to lose
All the world I've seen before me passing by
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
You don't care about how I feel
I don't feel it any more
I don't sleep, anymore
I don't eat, anymore
I don't live, anymore
I don't feel

I think this song is mostly about how the world is crazy and that he feels like everything is just so crazy. It's not the world he used to know. The world doesn't matter to him anymore.
What I'd like to know is what does ATWA mean?
I'm not looking it up. I'm lazy. XD

Nazi Halo

I love Jack Off Jill. I was thinking of there song "Nazi Halo" today.

http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/jackoffjill/nazihalo.html

This is the song right here if you want to check it out. I think the beats really good and of course Jessicka Addams voice is great.

Here are the lyrics if you're too lazy to click on the link up above:

Take a souvenir and stop your staring
Just cause I'm screaming
Don't mean I'm sharing
Can't keep my mouth shut
if you keep that dress on
You can't negotiate
Not with me this time

you go so low

your faggot rainbow
your Nazi Halo
won't save you this time

Bring your IQ and try to understand

Just cause I'm listening
Don't mean we're still friends
Can't fix my problem
You crossed a thin line
You can't just work it out
not with me this time

you go so low

your faggot rainbow
your junkie ego
won't save you this time

you go so low

your tragic disco
your Nazi Halo
won't save you this time

You're so predictable no shadow of doubt

when you are suffering know who sold you out
Fuck your opinions
Fuck your lack of spine
When you are miserable
Know that I'm just fine

You go solo

your faggot rainbow
your junkie ego
won't save you this time

you go solo

your tragic disco
your Nazi Halo
won't save you this time

My favorite thing about listening about listening to songs is listening to the words, because I love making up all these stories about what was the author thinking about when they wrote this.

To me this song is about, "Hey, we're breaking up and guess what I don't care how seemingly perfect you are to me, (Halo) I will never love any of the bad things you have done (Nazi).
This is the perfect break up song. She's telling him (or her, whatever!) to grab a souvenir because she knows they will never get back together so this is a memory he should take.
"You can't negotiate not with me this time" to me means that she's let him say sorry for bad things before, but this time she's not going to let him slide with that.
"When you are suffering know who sold you out" is probably revenge.

This song is perfect for anyone going through a break up, in fact everything from the "Clear Hearts Grey Flowers" album is perfect for anyone going through a break up.
