At my school, lots of kids LOVE anime, but there's no club because it needs to fit with the school standards. Now I wanted to make the club so us anime lovers could just chillax after school with kids who understand us for the freaks we are, but I guess there isn't much of a purpose to that.
I need to write a business letter stating the purpose of the club to the principal, still, not much of a purpose to an anime club is there! *laughs*
I just want there to be this club so badly. It's horrible that you can't just make a club and "Shazam!" it's there.
I know that most of the members will like your typical anime, because in my world I see it as everyone's into what everyone else is into and sure I like what other people like, but I don't take it to the extremity that if there's an anime I don't like I'm going to watch it just because my friends watch it. That's absolutely horrible. People should just be themselves. That's what I'm trying to do with the club. I'm going to make a questionnaire and with that I'll see all the weird anime shows that I have never even heard of and pick those as the shows we watch, because honestly most popular anime shows almost always have more than one season. I'm really into anime shows with just 12 episodes and I love hearing it in it's original language, but people love dubs. It's like come on try to learn the culture.
That's my whole point of loving anime. I love Japan's culture, I love how they draw, and I love the story that's what really makes an anime. It's because I loved the manga first (most of the time) that I'll end up loving the anime.
It's been much to long. . .
